We have just wrapped another PV and hardware trade show. Instead of brochures only, we put the actual parts on the table so buyers could check thread, finish and fit in person.

Booth walk-through

On display were our regular PV mounting fasteners — mid clamps and end clamps, tile-roof hooks, rail-channel bolts, anchor and earthing bolts — plus custom bracket parts. Most were hot-dip galvanized or stainless, ready for outdoor service.

Rail Channel Size and Bolt Specs That Fit

Most PV rails use a T-slot or similar channel. Before you order mid/end clamps, confirm the channel opening and the bolt head that seats inside it.

Check three dimensions: channel opening, bolt diameter (often M8), and the clamp base that sits on the rail crown. A mismatch shows up as rocking clamps or incomplete bite on the module frame.

Finish: zinc-plated for inland sites; stainless or HDG where salt or industrial humidity is expected. Name the standard in the inquiry so we quote the right hardware kit.

Send us rail cross-section drawings or photos with a scale — we will match clamp + bolt + nut sets from stock or OEM.

Tile Roof Hooks: Pitch, Load and Waterproofing

On clay or concrete tile roofs, hooks transfer array loads into the rafter — not into the tile alone. Measure tile type, batten layout and rafter centers before choosing a hook family.

Waterproofing: every penetration needs a compatible seal or flashing detail. Skip this and leaks show up months after handover.

Load path: wind uplift often governs. Share site wind zone and module layout so we can suggest hook density and stainless vs coated steel.

How OEM Custom Parts Move from Drawing to Shipment

Custom clamps, brackets and fasteners follow a short loop so quotes stay accurate and lead times stay predictable.

Brief: 2D/3D drawing or physical sample, target material, finish standard, qty and destination port.
Feasibility: we check tooling, tolerance and surface process against factory capacity.
First article: samples for fit-check on your rail/module before bulk.
Production & pack: batch run, QC, export cartons or pallets labeled to your PO.

How to Choose Mid Clamps vs End Clamps

PV modules sit on rails and are held by mid clamps and end clamps. The wrong clamp slows installation and can load the frame unevenly.

Mid clamps sit between two modules; end clamps finish the outer row. Slot width must match frame height, and the rail channel must match the slider or bolt.

Mounting PV on Color-Steel Roofs

On trapezoidal or standing-seam metal roofs, clamp to the rib instead of drilling the pan. Match the clamp to the profile, then add rails and module clamps.
